KS2 Revision Books
Prepare your kids for their SATs with at-home workbooks and KS2 revision books that support their practical learning.
KS2 Revision Books & Practice Papers
AE Publications have created a comprehensive range of books that cover Maths and English subjects.
It’s important to promote revising at home during SAT season, and support your children to continue with their learning outside of the classroom. At AE Publications, we’ve designed the ideal range of workbooks and textbooks to challenge KS2 children and help them reach their full potential.
Practice papers not only support revision of subject topics but they prepare children for the types of questions they will be assessed on during exam season. Our books are suitable for Ks2, 11+ exams, SATs, CATs, the Northern Ireland Transfer Test, Common Entrance and scholarship examinations for independent schools.

How to Encourage Children to Open Their KS2 Revision Books
Nurturing a study-friendly environment for your kids to do schoolwork will support their concentration but it can help separate work from relaxation zones at home. So don’t do revision on the sofa in front of the TV- having a stimulating desk space in a bedroom, or at the kitchen table away from distractions
Little and often is a great approach to revision. Whether setting your children the task of answering a few questions a day, or setting a time limit to their revision session (i.e. one hour on maths), means they can have a better balance of work and fun. It also helps keep the brain active without overriding it with too much information.
When it comes to revision routines, it’s important to keep on top of doing regular practicing but mixing up the subjects and the subjects of revision. Creating a revision timetable is really helpful to plan out which subjects to study each evening or on weekends and during holidays.
For example, you could cover maths revision on a Monday evening with our KS2 revision books and then English revision on a Tuesday to break it up, can be really beneficial.
Studying with your child offers a more supportive environment but leaving them to go through their workbooks alone will train them better for their exams. Finding a healthy balance is key.

How to Help Your Kids With Revision
Revising doesn’t just take going over a few questions, it requires persistence and regular routines. Every child is different and when it comes to learning and revising, sometimes one size doesn’t fit all – in other words, having a few different methods and routines to support learning can help.
Depending on our learning styles, we take in information differently. So here are a few ideas for revising that promote all round learning
- Flashcards
- Mind maps
- Post it notes
- Highlighting material
- Songs and rhymes
- Memory games
- Visual learning
- Recording questions and answers
- Role play
- Presentations
- Interactive games
- Mock tests
